The Advocate, A special meeting of the Board of commissioners of the Gas Utility District #1 of West Feliciana Parish was held at 4:00 p.m. August 6, 2015 at 4794 Prosperity St. Members present: Kevin Beauchamp, Tim Byrd, Kristi Hawkins, Plater Gooden, Terry Osterberger, CB Owen, Glenn Thomas Members absent were: Dennis Neal, Leonard White, Bess Kelley, David Norwood Also present were: Clay Hardouin, Superintendent; Naomi Riley, Finance Manager; Becky Hilliard, Admin. Assistant CB Owen offered a motion to approve the agenda as presented, seconded by Plater Gooden. All in favor. Motion carried. Glenn Thomas spoke on behalf of the Finance Committee regarding Project 3: Employee Benefits. After further discussion, it was decided that a market pay adjustment of 3.2% was more in line with the results sought after. Terry Osterberger offered a motion to change the market pay adjustment for all employees from 3% to 3.2%. Kristi Hawkins seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried. A resolution (attached and made a part of the minutes) relating to the upcoming audit was presented to the board for approval. Plater Gooden offered a motion to approve the resolution and authorize Kevin Beauchamp and Bess Kelley to sign the document. CB Owen seconded the motion. All in favor. Motion carried.
