The Advocate, ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS" Sealed bids will be accepted in the Purchasing Office, Coenen Hall 140, 700 University Avenue at The University of Louisiana at Monroe until 2 P.M. Central, August 6 , at which time they will be publicly opened and read aloud. Bid #011- Custodial Housekeeping Services and Facilities Set-ups for the ULM Student Union, Student Center and facility set-up for the University Conference Center, University House and Bayou Suites Conference room Qualified bidders may set up an appointment through the contract coordinators for detailed inspection and tour of the facilities no later than July 23, 2015. Bids must be submitted on the form enclosed herewith, and in strict conformity with the intent of same without modifications. Bids must be signed in ink, dated, and title of person signing bid must be shown on bid. Complete bidding documents may be obtained from the Purchasing Department, The University of Louisiana at Monroe, Monroe, Louisiana, 71209-2250, via fax request at 318/ 342-5218 or the State of Louisiana LaPac page: http://wwwprd1.doa.louisiana.gov/osp/lapac/pubmain.cfm by referencing #50006-011. Bids of $50,000.00 or more will be considered only when the bidder certifies that he holds a current valid Louisiana Contractors license of proper classification and shows the license number on the sealed bid envelope and above his signature on the bid forms as required under R.S. 37:2150-2163. Contractors desiring to bid shall submit evidence that they have a current Louisiana Contractors license of proper classification. All bids must be accompanied by bid security equal to five percent (5%) of the base bid and any additive alternates and must be in the form of a certified check, cashier's check or bid bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a performance and payment bond written by a company licensed to do business in Louisiana in an amount equal to 50% of the contract amount. No bid may be withdrawn for a period of thirty (30) days after receipt of bids. The Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids for just cause. In accordance with La. R.S. 38:2212(A)(1)(b), the provisions and requirements of this Section, those stated in the advertisement for bids, and those required on the bid form shall not be considered as informalities and shall not be waived by any public entity.
