The Advocate, NOTICE TO BIDDERS ADVERTISEMENT FOR BIDS TIMBER SALES Separate sealed bids will be received in Room 21 of the East Baton Rouge Parish School System Facilities Management Office, located at 2875 Michelli Drive, Baton Rouge, LA 70805, no later than 1:30 P.M. on Thursday, July 30, 2015, for two (2) separate timber sales in Section 16 of Township 4 South, Range 2 East, East Baton Rouge Parish, Louisiana. Proceeds from timber sales on this tract are to be allocated in the proportions of: East Baton Rouge Parish School System 76.19% and East Feliciana Parish School Board 23.81%. The two (2) timber sale areas on this tract are as follows: Timber Sale 1 - 176+/- acres of all merchantable pine and hardwood timber and pulpwood as well as 23+/- acres of first thinning pine pulpwood and chipnsaw. Timber Sale 2 174 +/- acres of first thinning pine pulpwood and chipnsaw. Timber Sale 1 and Timber Sale 2 will be sold separately. A separate written timber contract, on a form approved by the East Baton Rouge Parish School System and East Feliciana Parish School Board, will be required for each timber sale. Bids submitted after 1:30 P.M. on Thursday July 30, 2015 will not be considered. Telephone and fax bids will not be considered. In the event identical high successful bids are received for either sale, the bid received first in time will be recommended to the respective School Boards.
